Green Stone

Green Onyx is the only current approved profile in VeyraStone's green color family. Its translucent banding and color distribution make it a decorative sourcing direction rather than a uniform green surface. Confirm actual slab color, transmitted light, resin, backing, repairs, thickness, usable area, fabrication, support and installation before project approval.

How to shortlist Green Stone

The green directory currently represents one architectural onyx profile, not a general range of green granites, marbles or manufactured surfaces. It is intended for design discovery where transmitted light and layered banding may be part of the composition. If the brief seeks a non-translucent or working surface, use the sourcing route rather than assuming Green Onyx is an equivalent.

Variation and evidence

Green intensity, pale and dark bands, cloudy zones, veins, fissures, resin, mesh, backing and translucency can vary significantly. Front-lit and backlit views may look different, and the lighting system changes the final result. Request current slab images in both conditions and review pieces at the scale and thickness proposed for the installation.

Project confirmation

Define decorative location, contact level, lighting, panel dimensions, seams, edges, support, heat, cleaning and maintenance. Coordinate usable yield, repairs and handling with an experienced onyx fabricator and installer. The green tag does not establish technical performance, and the current profile contains no published testing values or stock information.

Written confirmation

What to include in the next brief.

  1. Review current Green Onyx front-lit and backlit, then confirm reinforcement, layout, fabrication, support and care.
  2. Describe the required background, undertone, accents, contrast, pattern scale and finish.
  3. Review identifiable current-lot images and representative samples under project-relevant lighting.
  4. Record acceptable variation, layout, seam and replacement-piece criteria before fabrication.

Procurement note

A material name is the start of selection, not the final specification.

Confirm the actual lot, visual range, finish, dimensions, fabrication scope, test documents, quantity, packing, destination, timing, and commercial terms in writing.
