Limestone is often considered for calm architectural surfaces where fine bedding, fossils or a restrained tonal field support the design. Moca Creme and Jura Beige have distinct commercial identities and origins, so they should not be treated as interchangeable beige stones. Review pattern scale, fossils, pores, edges and finish at the piece sizes proposed for the project.
Density, pore structure, bedding, fossil content, veining, fill, repairs and finish response can vary. Moisture and weathering questions become more important for exterior or high-exposure work. A color chip or profile image cannot demonstrate absorption, strength, freeze-thaw response or facade behavior, and the current public profiles contain no published testing values.
Define interior or exterior location, traffic, water, freeze-thaw conditions, dimensions, finish, support, joints, drainage, setting or anchorage and maintenance. Request the applicable material reports for the selected lot and any project-specific mock-up or testing required. Qualified designers and installers should approve the assembly and cleaning plan before ordering.
