Sandblasting can reduce reflectance and reveal a fine to stronger granular texture, depending on the process and material. On porous or fossil-bearing stone, it may emphasize structural features differently from brushing or bush hammering. The finish can support a restrained architectural expression, but the accepted surface should be defined by an actual sample rather than the finish name alone.
