Natural Stone Vanities

Natural stone vanities should be selected around water, cosmetics, cleaning, basin geometry, support, finish and the owner's maintenance expectations. VeyraStone links seventeen approved profiles to this application. Current slabs, openings, edges, backsplash, seams, reinforcement, substrate, plumbing clearances, sealing and installation must be coordinated with the fabricator and project team before approval.

How to shortlist Natural Stone Vanities

Vanities allow expressive marble, quartzite, granite and selected decorative onyx to be considered at a smaller scale, but each material brings different care and fabrication questions. Define whether the surface is a working bathroom top, a low-contact decorative element or part of a backlit composition. The related group supports shortlisting and does not make every profile suitable for every basin or wet exposure.

Variation and evidence

Current material determines vein placement around basins, usable depth, fissures, reinforcement, edges and backsplash coordination. A small sample may show color and finish but not the movement across a top or wall. Review identified slabs, map openings and seams and confirm treatments. For onyx, add translucency, lighting, backing and specialist handling to the review.

Project confirmation

Provide finished dimensions, basin type, faucet and plumbing positions, edge, backsplash, thickness, support, wall interfaces, finish and cleaning regime. Coordinate cut-outs and reinforcement with the fabricator. Confirm quantity, packing, destination and schedule and identify who accepts the sample, lot and installed maintenance plan. Do not assume sealing makes a surface stain- or etch-proof.

Written confirmation

Confirm for the project and lot.

  1. Confirm current lot, basin geometry, edges, backsplash, supports, treatments, cleaning, fabrication and installation.
  2. Define location, exposure, traffic, moisture, cleaning, dimensions, finish, quantity, destination and needed date.
  3. Request current-lot media, representative samples and the applicable project or material documents.
  4. Assign support, fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance and final approval to responsible qualified parties.
