How to shortlist Natural Stone Bars
A bar can include several distinct stone elements: a spill- and cleaning-exposed top, a low-contact front, a backlit feature, shelves, returns and junctions with equipment. Black Galaxy is shortlisted for a dark crystalline working-surface direction; White and Green Onyx are shortlisted for decorative or backlit elements. The relationship does not make onyx a substitute for a working granite top.
Variation and evidence
Current slabs determine dark-field crystal distribution, onyx translucency, banding, fissures, reinforcement and usable yield. Bar layouts include seams, equipment openings, drainer or sink zones, overhangs and illuminated panels that affect cut planning. Review identified material, finish samples and front- or backlit imagery, and map pieces before fabrication.
Project confirmation
Define food and drink exposure, cleaning chemicals, moisture, heat, support, openings, edges, seams, equipment, lighting, ventilation and maintenance. Coordinate countertop and decorative assemblies separately with qualified fabricators and installers. Confirm electrical or lighting responsibilities, packing, installation sequence and replacement access. The guide does not approve hygiene, structure or code compliance.
